Q) Did you coin ‘followship’? It’s not a word, but it’s perfectly understandable!

A) When I was in the military, I learned to be in the shoes of those taking orders before I was in a position to understand what I was saying meant to those under me later, when I would give orders.

I don’t take credit for coining the non-word, but I realized those who ‘lead’ from Ivory Towers are not always leading, but are pridefully bellowing. Real leaders are such because they DID the trenches, they are MORE than willing to be in the trenches themselves, and often ARE. They care about their people, and they understand the who, what, when, where, why, and how of what is being asked of them, because they have walked a mile in those moccasins themselves.

Christ did all of that, and more, for each person of humanity. Learn from that.
