About Soothee, Inc.
Soothee, Inc. is a company my wife and I founded, and now operate in memorial of my mother in law, Phyllis S. Steele McAvoy Deakins. She was a person committed to following God’s ways despite many difficulties in the process, until she passed. The company is used as a means for outreach to, and education of, all of God’s children on this Earth, and beyond.
Soothee, Inc. does not seek to be a non-profit entity because God’s way is to love others as the self. Taking that literally, paying a tithe plus taxes equals about 50% income left to be then spent on outreach. Meanwhile, that 40% paid in taxes helps the fatherless, widows, children, elderly, as well as provides for civil services, the common defense, and useful items such as roads. While political parties may vie back and forth on idealologies of where said monies are prioritized, an enormous amount is simply spent on bettering human lives. Soothee, Inc finds that in line with general principles of scripture, and supports paying due taxes. The bottom line is that almost all remaining income in one way or another is spent on outreach infrastructure. So, just about everything Soothee, Inc. makes, is spent on others directly or indirectly. How it gets there, via taxes or otherwise, is left to Christ to sort out when He return to judge the Earth’s peoples with love.
